Each province has their own branding criteria. A brand applied in one province may not “carry over” or be assigned to the vehicle in another province.

For questions/concerns related to provincial branding concerns for a specific vehicle, we recommend speaking with the seller and/or the provincial registration authority(ies) for more information.

This could mean a few things: license plate renewal, name change or an address change. It’s common to see many transactions coming from the motor vehicle department showing this record.

This could also be an indication that the vehicle’s ownership transferred from one dealership to another. Typically, a dealership is not identified as a “new owner” by our participating data sources.
